The Meybo HSX AL is a top-tier aluminum BMX race frame built for riders who want maximum speed, stiffness, and precision without moving to carbon. Engineered for elite-level racing, it is the fastest aluminum frame in the Meybo range, delivering explosive power transfer, razor-sharp handling, and rock-solid stability on demanding tracks.

Manufactured from 100% 6061-T6 aluminum, the HSX AL features hydroformed, multi-butted tubing to achieve an exceptional strength-to-weight ratio. Every aspect of the frame has been refined to create a lightweight yet extremely rigid platform that responds instantly under acceleration while remaining stable at high speed.

Developed specifically for World Cup and Championship-level BMX tracks, the geometry balances agility and control, giving racers confidence through sprints, jumps, and high-speed sections. For this latest generation, nearly all tubes have been redesigned alongside updated graphics, with improvements focused on weight reduction, stiffness, durability, and overall performance.

The HSX AL is designed exclusively for Flat Mount hydraulic disc brakes, with the caliper mounted directly to the rear stay for maximum braking efficiency and clean integration. It is compatible only with 120 mm brake rotors (140 mm rotors are not supported). To ensure precise rotor alignment, Meybo includes 1 mm, 2 mm, and 4 mm spacers, especially useful when not using an HSX-specific SD hub.

To maintain optimal stiffness across all sizes, the bottom bracket standard varies by frame size: Junior, Expert, and Expert XL frames use BB86 (Ø41 mm), while larger sizes feature PressFit BB386 (Ø46 mm) for increased pedaling rigidity and reduced flex. The rear triangle incorporates a CNC-machined 7005 aluminum 15 mm thru-axle, ensuring consistent chainstay length and excellent drivetrain alignment across all gear ratios.

An integrated Meybo chain tensioner is built into the rear stay, providing reliable chain tension and consistent drivetrain performance regardless of gearing setup — a key advantage for competitive BMX racing.
